A deep, atmospheric cyanotype inspired by Kalalau’s dramatic landscape on Kaua’i, Hawai’i. Created using a traditional process and hand-developed in natural light, this piece carries rich tonal variation and depth.
The final image—ethereal and richly toned in deep indigo—was shaped by the elements themselves. From full sun to overcast skies, even a passing breeze can leave its mark on the exposure, making this piece entirely unique. Part of my ongoing exploration with alternative photography, this artwork is both a study in nature and an expression of the unpredictable beauty of the cyanotype process.
